Something that changed my life was implementing this:
โก๏ธEvery quarter, I add in something random that I wouldnโt normally do or consider myself โsomeone who does that.โ Aka I get out of my comfort zone and try new things often. Every quarter itโs a new event, purchase, experience, trip, say yes when normally say no, etc.
โจIntentional creatingโจ
Think about itโฆ if you did that every quarter for the next 5 years, thatโs 20 new experiences you would have never had otherwise!
It definitely makes life feel more exciting when you participate in it this way ๐
Do you believe in the power of the body to affect the mind? Usually you only hear a lot about the mind affecting the body, but a true secret is that it goes both ways.
Our bodies are SO intelligent and always speaking to us if only we will listen.
If youโre feeling too overwhelmed and too much in your mind lately, not sure how to moveโฆ I encourage you to get into the body a bit. Move, dance, play, workout, touch, breathe with awareness of each breath, bring consciousness into your human vesselโฆ and so much of that stress and over thinking will melt away, followed by clarity of what you need to do next.
Plus, it comes with the added benefit of a calmed vagus nerve which touches every system of the bodyโฆ so it is REALLY worth the effort.
Sometimes we just need to pause and BE with ourselves. Do you have a ritual that helps you calm everything down? For me, reading has been a big one. It allows me to escape and just center for a sec. Even if only for a few minutes.
Try thisโฆ next time you feel overwhelmed and like the world is too much, grab a title you love and set a timer for 10 minutes. Get lost in the pages for ten minutes and nothing else.

(As someone who has personally worked on hundreds of resumes as a resume writer for years, I have a LOT to say on this. But Iโll just give you a few top tips below)โฌ๏ธ
1. Utilize your objection section in a way that works FOR you and actually helps you out.
This section is more than a place to say a generic statement about the fact that youโre โa highly qualified individual who is looking to support a great teamโฆblah blahโ Itโs a place to take out the guess work for the employer & instead say the EXACT role you want, the years of experience you have, and some of the top specific qualities you possess. (Trust me, you do NOT want them guessing on which role they feel is right for you based off their assumptions on your resume)
2. Brag about yourself! Highlight the data/numbers/percentages/increases youโve helped facilitate and make changes to. Show why YOU are impressive and worth moving to the next steps with evidence to back it up.
3. Screw the page limit! Nobody is counting or cares if you keep it to 1-2 pages as long as everything youโve placed on your resume is juicy and filled with crucial information that really speaks well to your experience. If you need 3, 4, 5+ pages I say go for it! Just make sure itโs all relevant and ADDS to the first impression you want to make.
Now that summer is here does it feel impossible to concentrate on work? If so, thatโs not necessarily a bad thing. It just means there are other things pulling at your heart. What you want to do when the daydreaming starts happening is to write it all down. Start taking visualization seriously. See what you can put pen to paper to, and how bad@ss you can design your dream life. Then, on the side of your work hours, start to build, little by little. Until it begins to become tangible and not a dream anymore ๐

Yesterday I was thinking about how funny life is sometimes. And how repetitive it can all be. And how so many people live in boxesโฆ wake up to a box (alarm clock), drive to work in a box (car), talk on boxes (phones) and look at boxes (computers) all day, drive back home in a box (car), and sometimes stop to sit in a box (bar) and have a cylinder (drink) before heading back to the box (home) you live.
But it doesnโt have to be so drab and hamster-wheel like.
This week I encourage you to change up ANYTHING. Clothes, location/environment, restaurant and food you eat, say yes when normally would say no, take a different route, try a random class, etc.
Change it up this week! Do this every week, and your life will begin to feel more fun that dull.
Did you know one of the biggest determining factors to success is simply someoneโs own VIEW of whether they see themselves as successful or not?!?
YES! Itโs completely subjective.
So therefore, how do you โbecome more successful?โ You track your wins and you look for what DID go right that week. NOT what you need to improve on. (At some point we do need to reflect on opportunities for growth of course, but MOST OF THE TIME we need to focus on what IS going well already so we stay motivated & keep the belief strong.)

Itโs funny because so many people come to me, seeking advice on how to navigate their careerโฆ not realizing that the reason they feel so lost is because they never spent time connecting with who they wanted to BECOME in their careerโฆ. When we flip the script like that, itโs powerful to see the clarity that forms ๐ฏ
Top tips to get back into a more productive and positive mental state (that you can do right now in this very moment). โฌ๏ธ
1. Smile๐ Itโs wild how quick this changes every single part of your physiology.
2. Stretch๐๐ผโโ๏ธ Get out of your head and into your body for a sec. Itโs amazing how fast this clears the mental to even just move your arms above your head for example.
3. Write out โ๏ธ or voice note ๐ฃ๏ธto yourself whatโs going on in your thoughts. Even if they make no sense when the words come out, just getting them out can make it so they lose their power over you and all of you can instantly feel better.
โก๏ธPlus, itโs super cathartic ๐๐ป
4. Change up your environment, get outside, OR look at a picture of nature if you canโt get outside ๐ณ This has an instant calming effect (yes science says even looking at a PIC of nature can change your nervous system).
If youโre in a funk, remember itโs a choice. Which means you have the power to CHOOSE different in every moment.
Time truly escaped me this weekend as I celebrated two incredible people getting married and starting their next chapter together. It really reminded me that the only things that matter in this world are love & the way you make others feel when youโre around them. Thatโs it.

Let me tell you about one of the scariest things I ever did in businessโฆ๐
It was back when I did not have a ton of money and was not 100% sure where my next paycheck would come from. Essentially, I NEEDED a client but had zero idea how it was going to happen. (A place you NEVER want to be as a business owner)
Long story short someone randomly came to me, begging to work with me. Iโd never seen someone so determined to sign with a mentor.
Every ounce of me wanted to say, โYES, omg so grateful!! Letโs do this!โ
But every part of my HIGHEST self and intuition said HELL NO! This is not the right person at all!
And because of my integrity (aka the relationship I built with myself) I actually turned it down w/no idea where money would come from.
I just trusted.
And as I let go with trust, 3 aligned clients came in that week! And the person I said no to, they sent so many nasty emails and I realized I saved myself a HUGE headache!
So I tell you alllll of that to tell you that if you stay true to yourself and your values, things just workout.
I promise you this. Always do the right thing and the Universe will have your back. ๐ฐ ๐ฐ ๐ฐ ๐ฅฐ

One of my clients recently told me he had been suffering from mild depression and it was effecting every area of his life (especially the way he showed up at work). He said he had attended every seminar, read all the books, hired a few coaches, and even traveled for two months to โfind himselfโ and nothing seemed to help.

One power packed way to motivate yourself on the days it can feel the hardest to get things done (like a Monday after a packed and eventful weekend) is to prioritize breaks. And breaks outside. Even just 5 min.
Even if it isnโt sunny, put yourself in the fresh air and let the earth give you an energy reset.
This can feel like another to-do list item (I know)โฆ until you make yourself do it and then you feel the benefits first hand.

Do you have a meditation practice? If not, I encourage you to start one. Itโs the single best thing you can do to start your day. The world is filled with so many demands and so much happening that if you donโt do something to center yourself before stepping into it each day, it can be much harder to manage your emotions and reactions.
I personally love the 6 phase meditation by MindValley but there are so many great ones out there.
